and historical port of Cartagena de Indias where the city is in
one side bathed in the sun and by the warm crystal clear waters
of the Caribbean Sea, and in the other surrounded by the rich Colombian
soil.

Taking advantage our surrounding important natural
resources, the company specializes in two production divisions.
 
One is the Industrial Pepper Division that
produces a wide range of peppers, which our Group has been cultivating
and processing industrially, in large quantities, for the world
market since 1992 (consisting mainly in Tabasco Amazon Peppers,
Habanero Peppers, Cayenne Peppers and Jalapeño Peppers).
 
The other, is the Industrial Dried Products
Division, which started in 1993 as a result of our natural
corporate expansion. Here we dehydrate sea food products (fish
and shrimp, mostly for the dried soup industry, and shark cartilage
for the pharmaceutical industry), and earth food products
(Dry Beef also for the dried soup industry, and also peppers
for the food industry in general (spices, snacks and meats industries).
75% of our production is contracted yearly with the world food industry.
 
The company has a complete organization backing our products. COMEXA
FOODS counts on its own 25,000 square feet processing plant and
warehouse, 3 minutes away from the local port. A complete, production,
quality control, administrative and marketing team run the company
to guarantee excellent quality, timely deliveries to your
warehouse door, anywhere in the world.
The company is affiliated to the Colombian-American
Chamber of Commerce, BASC (Business anti-smuggling coalition -USA
DEA & COLOMBIAN CUSTOMS-), and Colombian Government Trade Bureau.
